Watford really giving it a go. Would love to add Ighalo to our mix. Would be nice to prise janmaat from the barcodes too if we can't get jenkinson permanently

During the day i heard old Jug Ears say that if West Ham hung on to beat City, it would be the biggest sporting upset since Japan beat South Africa at rugby!

A manager can only do so much when his players are not turning up for battle, my simple belief is that the Newcastle players are playing very badly and with little concentration.

How can anyone blame Mclaren one of his players keeps on turning up to games dressed like a maitre d and the rest seriously look as if they think they are a bunch of millionaire rappers, cool and famous .

Footballers have to be on the ball literally, and the Newcastle players were not, far too relaxed.

Chelsea are a cheating bunch of cunts. Costa should have been off, not the Arsenal bloke.

Haven't watched enough of Grealish to judge him yet. I find Villa utterly tedious and Sherwood a bell-end so tend to avoid them if I can.
My impression is he fancies himself a bit and his hair is utterly ridiculous. If I played against him I'd grab a handful of sand and ruffle his barnet. Suspect he may run off crying.

Shearer: "I can't believe they didn't get Bilic in sooner."

Would have been much funnier if BFS was sitting next to him.

Just seen that Ritchie goal. Wow

My mate is a swindon season ticket holder and during the Di Canio seasons I used to go over, Ritchie was head and shoulders above any other player I saw... Always thought he'd play in the premier league! just didn't think it would it be for Bournemouth

Re: Match of The Day running order (yes, we're top billing)
McClaren is, by all accounts a decent coach.

Managing a team of men is a completely different kettle of kippers. McClaren has NO gravitas, no authority and no chance of making things work at Newcastle.

The mainstream media have their favourites. Steve McClaren, for whatever reason, seems to be one of those.

John Cross, who is the Mirror's Chief football writer, was eulogising about McClaren on Sunday prior to our game v the geordies while decrying Bilic as a 'Charmer' and a 'character' but nothing more. He said he fully expected a team managed by a Steve McClaren to beat us, and our 'luck' to run out.

In essence, the press have their favourites (weak cunts like McClaren who speak to anyone as they are desperate to curry favour) and Slaven can't be fucked with all that, so he is eschewed by the mainstream press.

Long may it continue and Super Slav make these cliche dealing cunts look like the charlatans they are

Mark Hughes in moaning cunt shock.

Never a free kick.

You are a twat Hughes and your teams have yet to lose without you blaming the ref.

HairyHammer 1:07 Sun Sep 20
Re: Match of The Day running order (yes, we're top billing)
I almost felt sorry for Shearer as he has been such a lover of Allardyce when he said " I cannot believe they never brought in Bilic much sooner " which I suppose is an admittance that he got it wrong.

Thought is was decent today and very much respectful of how West Ham played.
The truth is that most of these pundits only expect the bigger teams to show class and drive and the rest can just exist and limp along with the kings of football, but that makes them look dated stupid and very disrespectful toward 80% of the Premiership teams..
